Angels In The Gardens is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Teacher Assistant to join our warm and nurturing preschool team.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Immediate start available
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom routines and activities.
- Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for children ages 2–5.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and rest time.
- Prepare classroom materials and assist with arts & crafts, circle time, and learning centers.
- Encourage children’s social, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom.
- Work collaboratively with staff and communicate professionally with families.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
- Candidates working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
- Warm, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in classroom activities.
- Must meet all required background check and health clearance requirements.
