Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our housekeeping property management team on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential apartments and common areas. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure our residents enjoy a pristine, welcoming environment. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to uphold high cleanliness standards
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment, ensuring safe and effective results
- Conduct laundry services for residents’ linens and personal items, managing proper handling and storage
- Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, carpet cleaning, and polishing to keep all surfaces spotless and well-maintained
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely, following proper ergonomic practices
- Manage outdoor work responsibilities including outdoor cleaning, trash removal, and maintaining communal outdoor areas
- Communicate effectively with residents and property management staff to address cleaning needs or special requests promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles with a focus on apartment or property management environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health and safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with residents and team members
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple units or areas
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and prolonged periods of standing or walking
- Experience in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus
