Starting Pay: $36/hour
Full-Time | Monday–Thursday | 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
1-Hour Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Position Overview
Serenity Human Service Coordination LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our growing team. Our agency primarily serves low-income Medicaid clients and Hispanic families within the community. We are looking for a therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals and families through mental health challenges while helping empower clients toward long-term growth and stability.
This position requires a professional who is culturally sensitive, compassionate, patient, and committed to meeting clients where they are while helping educate, guide, and strengthen them through therapeutic support.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and behavioral health therapy services
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required documentation
- Maintain ethical and professional standards of care
- Collaborate with Case Managers and other providers to support client success
- Maintain active licensure and compliance with Idaho regulations
- Support clients experiencing mental health, emotional, behavioral, and environmental challenges
- Provide culturally responsive services to diverse populations
- Provide services wherever it benefits the client most.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as a mental health practitioner in the State of Idaho
- Examples include: LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, etc.
- Must actively maintain licensure in good standing
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related Human Services field required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Strong interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills
