Lunch Host/Hostess

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and positive attitude, making them feel at home from arrival to departure.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general questions.
- Maintain an organized waiting list and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
- Assist in managing guest flow during busy hours to ensure smooth seating and service.
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring an exceptional experience.
- Keep the host/hostess station clean and organized while adhering to food safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and guest interaction abilities.
- Good organizational skills to handle multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and hospitality standards is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in hotel or restaurant settings, along with guest services or guest relations background, is advantageous.
