Job Description:
The CDL Operator is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles and performing assigned field work such as hauling, loading, offloading, or operating specialized equipment. This position requires strict adherence to DOT regulations, company safety policies, and efficient completion of daily assignments.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate CDL-class vehicles, including but not limited to side dumps, dump trucks, tankers, or roll-offs.
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete all required documentation.
- Load and unload materials, waste, or equipment as assigned.
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and job-related paperwork.
- Follow all DOT, state, and company safety regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and supervisors regarding job status, delays, or issues.
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of assigned vehicle and equipment.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, the public, and other team members.
- Assist crew members as needed to complete field work safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
-
Valid Class A or B license (depending on position) and an Insurable Driving Record. License must be Real ID compliant or a Real ID compliant license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

1+ year CDL Truck Driving Experience Required

1+ year of experience working in the environmental service industry / construction industry, preferred

Ability to drive a manual transmission truck (no restriction)

Able to work in confined spaces

Able to lift 75 lbs +

Able to pass Background Check and UA (note: we follow federal drug testing guidelines, including marijuana prohibition)

Strong communication skills; in order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency

Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and nights as needed, and be on-call one week a month

Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirements, including the ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and signals, communicate with the public and regulatory officials, and complete required records and reports.
