Basin NDT Supply & Repair is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who wants to build a long-term career in the Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) industry. No previous NDT experience is required—we will train the right person.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, staying organized, learning new technical skills, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Learn to inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair NDT equipment
- Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments
- Enter inventory into our point-of-sale (POS) and inventory management system
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Deliver orders to local customers when needed
- Assist customers at our sales counter
- Prepare customer quotes and follow up on orders
- Maintain an organized warehouse and repair shop
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Help keep repair records and documentation organized
- Learn about NDT equipment, supplies, and accessories to better assist customers
Qualifications
- Mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated to learn
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience with shipping, inventory, warehouse operations, or equipment repair is a plus
