Position Title: Service Technician
Department: Hydraulic Department
Reports To: Hydraulic Manager
Supervises: None
Purpose:
Diagnosis and repair of hydraulic components and systems. This will include but not limited to; Pumps, Motors, Valves, High Pressure tools, Boom Trucks, Dump Trucks and other equipment with hydraulic problems. Service calls using Yarbrough’s trucks will be required.
Essential Functions:
· Ability to disassemble and reassemble components.
· Willing to study and learn hydraulics.
· Ability to use hand tools, measuring tools, machinery and power tools.
· Ability to work on and under trucks and equipment.
· Diagnose hydraulic problems in components or equipment
· Drive to and from Service Call sights
· Ability to work unsupervised, self-motivated and driven to be one of the best.
· Run a computer based Test Stand, and other test equipment.
· Write legible
· Other Duties as Assigned
Non-Essential Functions:
· Any spare time spent cleaning your work area and complete shop.
· Willing to attend company meetings and talk to customers.
· Willing to work with others to complete their project.
Minimum Requirements:
· Supply your own hand tools, willing to invest in tools that are needed to do your job.
· Lift 50 pounds.
· Bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb and lay while working.
· Ability to work outside in the heat or cold, most work will be indoors.
· Communicate in English to Service Manager and Technical assistance personnel.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
