About the Opportunity
We are currently hiring a Primo Sales Manager Trainee to join our growing team in Downtown New Orleans.
This position is designed for individuals interested in developing both sales and leadership skills. As a Manager Trainee, you will begin by learning Primo's products, services, promotional offers, and customer enrollment process while working directly with customers inside our retail partner locations. As performance and leadership skills develop, you will receive training in team management, territory management, client relations, and business operations.
This is a structured management development program where advancement is based on performance, leadership ability, and successful completion of training milestones.
What You'll Be DoingCustomer Sales & Enrollment
- Engage with customers inside retail partner locations
- Educate customers about Primo products, services, and current promotions
- Answer customer questions and provide product recommendations
- Complete customer enrollments and service sign-ups
- Maintain product knowledge and stay current on promotional offerings
- Meet individual sales and customer acquisition goals
Leadership & Management Training
- Learn how to train and develop new team members
- Assist with onboarding and coaching entry-level representatives
- Learn territory planning and market development strategies
- Participate in team meetings and leadership workshops
- Learn client relationship management and campaign execution
- Develop skills in performance tracking and goal setting
Business Development Training
- Learn basic business operations and profitability concepts
- Understand campaign performance metrics and business break-even analysis
- Assist leadership with territory growth initiatives
- Learn how retail sales campaigns are managed and expanded
- Gain exposure to client communication and account management
What We're Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day
- Ability to work in a retail environment and remain on your feet during scheduled shifts
- Goal-oriented mindset with interest in sales and leadership development
- Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, sports, leadership, or sales experience is a plus but not required
