Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across diverse settings, including industrial and commercial environments. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities using electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to identify issues within complex industrial electrical systems and execute effective solutions promptly.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations adhering to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and system setup.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment to perform precise electrical work.
- Follow strict electrical safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment during all phases of construction, renovation, or maintenance projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems on construction sites or during renovation projects while ensuring compliance with local electrical codes.
- Collaborate with team members on industrial or commercial projects, including reading schematics and implementing detailed wiring plans.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and safety procedures followed to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a licensed electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical wiring.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage electrical wiring in construction or renovation settings.
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in industrial environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems, industrial automation components like PLCs, and schematic reading enhances your effectiveness in this role.
- Ability to operate hand tools such as wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers; power tools; and specialized testing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to prevent hazards during installation or maintenance activities.
- Additional handyman skills or frame carpentry experience are advantageous for versatile project support.
