Overview
The Reception Supervisor sets the leadership role in fostering a positive and productive workplace. Excels in all core departmental responsibilities, setting a high standard for their team. Proactively addresses staffing shortages and scheduling to hospital needs, ensure safety, and developing detailed training programs. Prioritize the well-being of clients, pets, and staff, while cultivating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere through recognition and constructive feedback. Obtains strong communication skills to provide exceptional customer service and address concerns effectively. Helps to maintain a clean and welcoming hospital environment and is physically capable of handling demanding tasks. Contributes to team discussions and adhere to all clinic policies and regulations to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
Duties
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls using multi-line phone systems.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and mail.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
- Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents and preparing reports.
- Utilize Google Suite applications for scheduling, document creation, and communication.
- Provide general office support to ensure smooth operations within the office environment.

- Ensure seamless communication with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
- Effectively address customer concerns by handling escalated complaints, compliments, and questions in person or by phone.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming hospital environment through diligent oversight of cleanliness standards.
- Capable of physically demanding tasks, including lifting pets of various sizes and performing repetitive motions such as bending, kneeling, and lifting for extended periods.
- Cultivate a sense of ownership and commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute meaningfully to discussions and decision-making processes.
- Adhere strictly to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards, to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- A weekend day is required to be scheduled for this position
