Our client is seeking a motivated and client-focused Family Law Attorney to join its growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is passionate about helping individuals and families navigate complex and sensitive legal matters while building a successful long-term career in family law.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and work directly with clients through all stages of family law proceedings.
Manage a broad range of family law matters, including:
Divorce and separation
Child custody and parenting time disputes
Child support and alimony matters
Equitable distribution and property division
Post-judgment and enforcement matters
Conduct client consultations and provide legal guidance throughout the representation
Draft pleadings, motions, certifications, settlement agreements, and other legal documents
Prepare and file court documents in compliance with applicable rules and deadlines
Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, and depositions
Develop case strategies and negotiate settlements when appropriate
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide exceptional client service
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing with the New Jersey Bar
Prior family law experience is strongly preferred, but qualified attorneys with transferable litigation experience will also be considered
Strong understanding of New Jersey family law procedures and practice
Experience drafting motions, pleadings, and legal correspondence
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
