Volvo Cars Hill Country is hiring a Service Advisor for our new dealership in northwest Austin, Texas. We are a locally owned and operated dealership dedicated to providing great service to our growing Volvo customer base. An energetic multi-tasker with strong communication skills is an ideal candidate for this position. Job duties of an Automotive Service Advisor include:
- Greeting and assisting customers on service drive
- Research customer history to ensure vehicle is maintained accordingly and confirm all open campaigns are included in work orders.
- Creating accurate customer pay and warranty work orders with customer concerns for technicians.
- Managing workflow with a team of technicians to ensure timely and thorough service repairs.
- Following up with customers by phone and email to schedule service visits and approve work with accurate time and cost estimates.
- Selling customers maintenance and repair work along with referrals to New Car, Preowned Car and Finance/Warranty Sales
- Contact extended warranty and insurance companies to obtain third party approvals of work when applicable.
- Communicate throughout process with technicians, parts department, customer and managers as needed to complete service work and keep involved parties updated.
- Maintaining courteous, customer-focus behavior to meet and exceed brand Customer Satisfaction goals.
Ideal candidates for an Automotive Service Advisor have:
- 2+ Years automotive experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Great face-to-face customer service skills
- Strong phone coverage skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Reynolds and Reynolds software knowledge a plus
- Volvo experience a plus

This position's pay is commission based on total parts and service Advisor sales. Work hours are during Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm along with occasional Saturdays 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (closed on Sundays).
