We are seeking a highly energetic and empathetic Front Desk Coordinator to be the welcoming face and beating heart of our clinic.
What You’ll Do
You are the pulse of our clinic's daily operations. This isn't just an administrative role—it's a critical part of the patient journey where your problem-solving and proactive nature directly improve lives:
- Create a First-Class Experience: Greet patients warmly, manage the check-in/out process, and maintain a bright, welcoming clinic atmosphere.
- Optimize the Schedule: Masterfully navigate our EMR/scheduling software. Treat schedule-building like an exciting, rewarding puzzle—contacting patients on waitlists, swiftly filling cancellations, and ensuring therapists have optimal caseloads to maximize community care.
- Manage Patient Accounts: Confidently process payments, navigate insurance verifications, and assist patients with billing questions.
- Coordinate Communications: Act as the central communication hub between patients, therapists, and referring physicians.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience working specifically in an outpatient physical therapy setting (required).
- Industry Knowledge: Proficiency with EMR software (PromptEMR experience is highly preferred, or equivalent systems).
- Clinical Workflows: Strong familiarity with medical terminology, intake procedures, and health insurance authorizations.
The position will be Monday-Friday between 22-29 hours per week depending on patient load.
