Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Lewistown, Montana. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Med Surg unit while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for adult medical-surgical patients.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
Requirements
- Current Montana Registered Nurse (RN) License (required)
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Pay: $2,150.00 - $2,200.00 per week
