Maintenance Manager
Position Summary
As the Maintenance Manager, you will work alongside our current Maintenance Mechanic as part of a two-person maintenance team responsible for executing all required maintenance across our production equipment, packaging lines, machining centers, and facility systems. You will report to the Operations Manager
The primary goal of this position is to transition our maintenance operation from a reactive, emergency-maintenance approach to a proactive, scheduled preventive maintenance program. You will establish and maintain maintenance schedules, ensure accurate records and logs, identify potential equipment issues before they become failures, and make sure critical equipment is ready to execute the production schedule.
You will take ownership of equipment reliability and work closely with Operations and Production to prioritize maintenance needs, minimize unplanned downtime, and ensure machines and production lines are operating safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced, hands-on mechanical professional and strong problem solver who can lead by example, work effectively as part of a small team, and bring structure, accountability, and discipline to our maintenance program. Success in this role means fewer emergency breakdowns, more predictable maintenance, and equipment that is ready when production needs it.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the efficient operation and performance of all packaging lines, ensuring equipment operates safely, reliably, and with minimal unplanned downtime.
- Record all completed maintenance tasks in the Company Master Maintenance Drive account, ensuring maintenance activities, repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment issues are documented accurately and consistently for future reference and accountability.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop a daily maintenance schedule based on priority, ensuring critical maintenance needs are addressed first and scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
- Organize and maintain accurate maintenance records for all packaging equipment and machining centers, including scheduled preventive maintenance, completed work orders, inspections, repairs, and service activities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly maintained and completed on time.
- Review maintenance records regularly to identify recurring equipment issues, maintenance trends, and opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
- Work closely with production teams to quickly identify and resolve equipment issues that impact packaging line efficiency and throughput.

· Salary: $50,000- 60,000 per year

Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: $52,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
