About the Role
As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will drive operational excellence by overseeing a high-performing technical team and ensuring the peak reliability of our automated packaging systems. You will leverage your mechanical expertise to resolve complex technical challenges, directly impacting production uptime and equipment longevity.
Responsibilities-
Direct and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to foster a culture of safety and high performance.

Perform advanced diagnostics on automated machinery to resolve complex mechanical and operational bottlenecks.

Optimize the interaction between high-speed packaging equipment and materials to maximize line efficiency.

Provide technical escalation support for intricate repairs beyond standard maintenance protocols.

Manage the upkeep of specialized systems including labeling, tube filling, and overwrapping units.

Execute troubleshooting on Siemens PLC-controlled systems to maintain seamless production flow.

Partner with production leadership to implement proactive maintenance strategies that reduce unplanned downtime.
Qualifications-
Proven leadership experience managing technical staff in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Advanced mechanical aptitude with a track record of solving complex, non-routine equipment failures.

Working proficiency in troubleshooting PLC systems and automated industrial controls.

Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
