Field Service Equipment Technician
Bison Equipment Rental is hiring a Field Service Equipment Technician. This position will be responsible for providing quality maintenance and service on heavy equipment to keep equipment operating and functioning to meet our customer’s needs. Competitive pay ranges based on experience.
Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot and perform safe maintenance and repair a variety of equipment in the shop or in the field including mechanical, electrical, engine, hydraulic, def and diesel systems
· Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
· Operate safe job practices when repairing equipment
· Travel to job sites for repair and maintenance of rental equipment.
· Maintain a clean and organized field service truck and conduct oneself in a respectful and safe manner on job sites.
· Complete work orders in a timely manner
· Good written and verbal communication skills for daily reporting
· Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
· Other assigned duties as needed
Job Qualifications
· Valid Driver’s license with acceptable driving record
· 3 years minimum of field experience servicing and troubleshooting equipment
· Technical certifications or degrees a plus
· Must have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical theories based on various engines and machines
· Must have your own tools applicable to this position
· Ability to work with limited supervision and a certain degree of independent judgment
· Ability to work in time parameters, multi-task and manage difficult situations professionally
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Ability to diagnose and trouble shoot equipment visibly and audibly
· Must have superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
