General Manager – Daytime Schedule – Most Weekends Off

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is hiring a General Manager for one of our St. Louis area locations. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced retail, banking, grocery, warehouse, or food service leaders who want a stable environment with clear systems and expectations.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a small team
- Create and manage weekly schedules
- Maintain food quality and service standards
- Control labor and food costs
- Manage inventory and ordering
- Ensure a clean, organized, professional environment
- Be present and visible during peak hours
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work alongside your team while also managing performance and profitability.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of leadership experience (retail, restaurant, grocery, warehouse, banking, or similar)
- Stable work history
- Strong scheduling and time management skills
- Comfortable using POS systems, email, and spreadsheets
- High accountability and reliability
- Ability to lead by example
Restaurant experience is helpful but not required. We value operational leadership and consistency above all.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary
- Comfortable working in kitchen and prep environments
