Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface sanitation to meet high cleanliness standards.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens with care and efficiency.
- Maintain the cleanliness of floors through proper floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service.
- Use janitorial and custodial experience to operate cleaning equipment safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management, with knowledge of cleaning surfaces, outdoor work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, floor cleaning methods, carpet cleaning, and general janitorial procedures.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple client homes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving furniture or handling bulky equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and implementation of cleaning procedures that promote hygiene and safety.
- Prior experience in commercial or custodial cleaning is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
