Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team. As a line cook, you will be responsible for cooking and delivering per Hotel Standards. Must be able to multi task in a fast - paced environment to perform breakfast, lunch and dinner service when necessary.
There may be a need to fill in during busy banquets as well.
Duties:
- Oversee and participate in food preparation, cooking and production
- Properly store all foods
- Responsible for a clean work station and walk ins
- Oversee proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- Responsible for breaking down dish up station and storing leftover foods after banquet services
- Responsible for breakdown and cleanup after shift
Requirements:
- 1-2 years hands on operational experience in food service operations
- Familiar in the operation of most kitchen equipment, general sanitation procedures, and overall basic knowledge of food handling procedures
- Able to listen and communicate with fellow employees
- Must take constructive criticism
- Attention to detail to deliver food per standards
- Must have 1+ years line cook experience and ability to work flexible shifts including morning shift (6am to 2pm) or evening shifts, weekends and holidays
