Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. As an In-Home Caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing essential care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation needs
Engage in meaningful conversation and provide companionship to clients
Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
Skills:
Compassionate and empathetic nature
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and observation skills
Patience and understanding when working with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations
Ability to work independently while following established care plans
Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must pass a background check and drug screening
You must be 19 years of age or older
