Greenway Health & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as our Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

Working alongside an experienced Director of Nursing, the ADON plays a vital role in ensuring quality clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, staff development, and exceptional resident care.

- Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily operations of the nursing department.
- Help ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring, and support to nursing staff.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist with survey preparation and regulatory readiness.
- Monitor resident care to ensure the highest standards of quality.
- Support infection prevention, clinical documentation, and care planning.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and staff development.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on resident-centered care.
- Participate in weekend management rotation as assigned.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting required.
- Previous nursing leadership experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing, RN Supervisor, Unit Manager, Charge Nurse, Clinical Manager, or similar leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey process, and long-term care standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high clinical standards.
