Responsibilities
- Assist financial advisors in preparing comprehensive financial plans and recommendations based on client goals and financial data.
- Gather, organize, and maintain client financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Utilize financial planning software to input data, generate reports, model scenarios, and prepare planning presentations.
- Prepare paperwork for account openings, transfers, beneficiary updates, and other client service requests.
- Schedule client meetings, prepare meeting materials, and document follow-up action items.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor client accounts for administrative follow-up, outstanding requests, and required documentation.
- Coordinate with custodians, insurance companies, and other financial institutions to facilitate client transactions and account servicing.
- Support advisors with ongoing client reviews by updating financial information and preparing review reports.
- Provide exceptional client service by responding to inquiries, assisting with routine requests, and ensuring timely communication.
Requirements
- Previous experience in financial services, financial planning, banking, wealth management, or a related administrative role preferred.
- Proficiency with financial planning and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information and prepare planning materials.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Series 65, Series 66 is preferred, or willingness to obtain licensing, depending on role responsibilities.
