Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and attentive Morning Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service during lunch hours. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for morning diners
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Assist with food handling, food preparation, and bussing to ensure smooth service flow
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales through OpenTable reservations and suggestive selling techniques
- Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices
- Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders in a casual setting
- Assist with general restaurant duties such as prep work, cleaning, and maintaining a tidy environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
- Experience in serving, bussing, or host/hostess roles is highly desirable
- Ability to work early morning hours consistently with a positive attitude
