American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of ER experience and prior travel experience on night shifts.

Work setting is a short-term acute care hospital and Level I Trauma Center

Emergency Department (ER) unit
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)

On-call required as needed
-
Weekend availability required as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered

Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur on a limited basis
-
Active RN license — must be in full compliance with NLC (Nursing Licensure Compact) guidelines; no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of ER experience required; 3+ years preferred

Level I Trauma Center experience required

Large hospital experience preferred

ADN or higher required for this position

At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible unless they have 3+ years of recent experience

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application, as RTO will not be approved if not listed upfront

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, the traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
