Employee Benefits Account Executive / Producer
Location: Flower Mound, TX
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 Base Salary + Commission
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid Flexibility Available
A growing and well-established Employee Benefits organization is seeking an Employee Benefits Account Executive / Producer to join its team in Flower Mound, TX.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both client relationship management and business development. The role is approximately 60% account management/service and 40% sales, making it ideal for an employee benefits professional who wants to inherit and manage client relationships while also helping grow the business.
What You'll Do
- Manage and retain an existing book of Employee Benefits clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor for small group benefits accounts
- Lead client renewals, benefit reviews, and ongoing account service
- Identify opportunities to expand coverage and introduce additional benefit solutions
- Develop new business opportunities through referrals, networking, and existing relationships
- Partner with internal team members to deliver exceptional client service
- Assist clients with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary benefit programs
- Support open enrollment meetings and ongoing employee benefits education
- Maintain strong carrier relationships and stay informed on industry trends
What We're Looking For
- Active Texas Life & Health Insurance License
- Employee Benefits experience in account management, account executive, producer, or broker roles
- Experience servicing small group employee benefits accounts
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- Interest in both servicing clients and growing a book of business
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a close-knit team
- Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield products is highly preferred
