Cleveland, Ohio - strong experience - experience with high quality law firm very helpful - part time (depends on client demand - during 2026 to date, monthly probably between 20-40 hours, all driven by client demand) - someone(s) to take over firm after senior lawyers retire - experience and expertise in any of following areas could be helpful .... commercial litigation - business transactions and operational issues and contracts- real estate, e.g. leases, loans - entities (corporations, LLCs, joint ventures) - employment law from employer side – strong client and interpersonal skills - if employment law (knowledgeable and facile with Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA – knowledgeable with OWBPA USERRA, NLRA, WARN Act - experience drafting Employee Handbooks and advising on employment policies – experience with employment agreements and separation agreements – experience defending employee litigation, etc. – familiar and knowledgeable in dealing with EEOC) - clients do not have in house counsel - some have HR Directors - would like to continue to practice but not full time - loves the practice of law - does not need the money but money would be helpful - possible scenarios ( lawyer raising family, lawyer who retired) - would do to be involved, to be in a very small firm that some would consider interesting with a different approach to the practice of law and involvements in the community – some help can be remote - weekly Zoom conference call on client matters – helpful Bar Admissions: Ohio and DC - experience and expertise priorities: (1) commercial litigation, (2) business lawyer, and (3) employment law.
