Join Our Team as a Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Technician!
Performance Medicine Institute is seeking a motivated and personable full-time Rehabilitation Technician to join our team. Our practice focuses on sports medicine and men's pelvic health. If you have experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or personal training with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions, we encourage you to apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under provider supervision
- Perform patient stretching techniques to aid in recovery and mobility
- Apply therapeutic modalities to support patient treatment plans
- Educate and coach patients on exercise techniques, fitness, diet, and nutrition
- Monitor and track patient progress through phone calls and SMS follow-ups
- Assist with patient check-ins and follow up on patient satisfaction after treatment
- Obtain vital signs and patient history
- Other tasks as assigned and trained
- Four day schedule (Tue, Thu, Fri, Sat) with 40 hours/week
- Maintain clinic organization, cleanliness, and general upkeep
Required Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in exercise physiology, kinesiology, sport science, personal training, or other related field
- 1-2+ years experience in a fitness, coaching, or clinical setting
