Summary
We are seeking a skilled Excavation Foreman to join our team at ACME CONSTRUCTION. In this role, you will oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Your leadership will be critical in maintaining our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities and assist with managing project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to guide construction efforts.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality workmanship.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address issues promptly.
- Provide leadership and training to crew members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Run heavy equipment such as Backhoe, Loader, Roller etc.
- Communicate effectively with team members and Supervisors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience with construction estimating and project scheduling is essential.
- Able to pass drug test.
- Clean driving record.
- Willingness to work Overtime, occasional nights, and weekends if project requires.
