About the Role
We are a locally owned septic service company seeking a dependable Septic Service Technician / Pumper to perform residential septic pumping, maintenance, and system support.
This position combines driving, hands-on service work, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working directly with homeowners while maintaining clean and professional job sites.
Responsibilities
- Pump, Inspect and Service residential septic tanks and systems
- Operate pump truck and related service equipment
- Drive assigned vehicle to and from job sites throughout King, Pierce, and Thurston Counties
- Inspect and assist in identifying septic system issues
- Clean and maintain septic systems, sewer lines, and related structures
- Perform hand digging and site access work when needed
- Maintain accurate service records and site documentation
- Communicate clearly with customers and office/dispatch
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B (required) Class A (preferred)
- Tanker endorsement (required)
- Valid medical card
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Willingness to work 40+ hours per week
- Reliable transportation to report to yard daily
- Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks
- Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of septic systems and repair
- Experience operating vacuum trucks or similar equipment
- Excavator experience or certification
- OSM or Master Installer certification (King, Pierce, or Thurston County)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
