Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis.
Job Summary
Duties:
- Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Conduct technical accounting tasks, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Perform bank reconciliation to verify the accuracy of recorded transactions
- Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and customer account maintenance
- Process accounts payable, including vendor invoice verification and payment processing
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or trends in financial data
- Assist with tax preparation 1040s, 1120, 1120S, etc.
- Prepare financial reports, including, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
-Review others work once proficient
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an accountant with 3-4 years experience
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel) Accounting CS
- Strong attention to accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team
- Associate's degree in accounting required
-Experience doing tax returns for at least 3-4 years
