As Plastek’s Warehouse Supervisor:
The Warehouse Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse Manager. They must have the ability to develop, comprehend and assign work Instructions, ensure safety procedures are being followed by shift employees. The supervisor must also show great leadership and be able to lead by example.
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all Warehouse functions.
- Be able to train new and existing employees
- Responsible for SAFETY of employees and property
- Train and monitor employees in proper work function and company practices
- Be self-directed and self-motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task
- Posses excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Great people and leadership skills
- Able to work well with others
- Able to take on multiple tasks and see through until completion
- Be able to counsel employees with disciplinary issues and work performance
- Be able to interpret work instructions, SOPs and GMPs daily
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2-4 years supervisory experience in a warehouse environment required
- Able to work 12-hour shifts from 730am-740pm
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with UKG (Kronos) time and attendance computer system
- SAP computer systems
- Possess good time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Leadership / Supervisory skills
- Problem solving ability
