Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled NCCCO Certified Crane Operator with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our dynamic construction and materials handling team. In this role, you will operate hydraulic lifting equipment, ensuring safe and efficient movement of heavy materials. Your expertise in load handling procedures, rigging, and safety regulations will be essential to maintaining a secure work environment while supporting project timelines. Responsibilities
- Operate cranes adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
- Perform load securing rigging methods and rigging procedures to ensure safe lifting and transportation of materials.
- Handle materials efficiently within construction sites or warehouse environments, including shipping & receiving operations.
- Conduct routine inspections of cranes and safety equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety regulations.
- Safely transport materials using Class A CDL trucks to various job sites or delivery points while following all commercial driving laws.
- Coordinate with team members to execute precise lifting operations, ensuring the stability and security of loads during movement.
- Maintain detailed logs of crane operations, load handling activities, safety checks, and transportation records for compliance audits.
Experience
- Proven experience operating cranes with NCCCO certification in a construction or industrial setting.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and experience in commercial trucking.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of hydraulics, load handling procedures, and heavy equipment operation.
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations, OSHA standards, and materials handling best practices.
- Hands-on experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, backhoes, excavators, boom trucks, and warehouse material handling equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to implement safety protocols consistently while managing multiple tasks in dynamic environments.
- Prior work experience in shipping & receiving roles or construction sites is highly desirable.
