The Role
We're looking for a highly motivated Short-Form Video Editor to join our team. You'll take raw and long-form footage and turn it into scroll-stopping vertical content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Our standard is high engagement — we expect our short-form content to consistently perform at 10K+ views, and we need an editor who understands what makes content actually hook and hold an audience.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw/long-form footage into high-performing short-form content (vertical format)
- Edit and clean audio for clarity and engagement
- Apply color grading to match brand style and improve visual quality
- Utilize AI tools to enhance editing workflow and content quality
- Add captions, sound effects, pattern interrupts, and pacing techniques that drive retention
- Stay current on short-form trends, formats, and platform algorithm changes
- Deliver content on tight turnaround timelines while maintaining quality
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Proficient in Final Cut Pro and CapCut
- Comfortable working on Mac computers
- Strong understanding of color grading and audio editing
- Experience using AI-assisted editing tools
