Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Early Childhood Floating Teacher to join our vibrant educational team. In this dynamic role, you will provide flexible classroom support across various early childhood classrooms, ensuring each child's developmental needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with young learners, promote early childhood development, and contribute positively to our school community.
Requirements
- Obtain Act 48 required background checks, clearances and trainings. We will direct you to the necessary resources.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers by assisting with daily activities, lesson implementation, and behavioral management
- Attend to any and all caring of children surrounding meal times, toileting, nap times and over all safety.
- Adapt to different classroom environments, providing consistent care and instruction tailored to infants through preschool-aged children
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences focused on literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills
- Assist in classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and a nurturing learning environment
- Contribute to curriculum development efforts by implementing innovative teaching methods aligned with early childhood education standards
Skills
- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or preschool environments
- Willingness to be flexible and move to different classrooms throughout the day
- Ability to communicate clearly with children, and staff while maintaining professionalism and empathy
- Certification in first aid and CPR a plus but training will be provided
