Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Chief Engineer, a pivotal leadership role dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our hotel’s facilities. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the hotel housemen to maintain all hotel facilities, including HVAC systems, electrical networks, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity.
- Maintains a work order assignment program for completed and pending work orders. Prioritizes and completes work orders in a timely manner.
- Completes hotel room and building repairs such as replacing ceiling tiles, filters, light bulbs, patching vinyl, and painting. Performs repairs on toilets, sinks, laundry facilities, kitchen, and other hotel property.
- Able to contact repair companies (HVAC, Laundry equipment, pool, etc.
- Oversee the repair from outside contractors.
- Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are preformed according to manufacturer specifications and local Health Department Regulations
- Manage projects related to facilities upgrades, renovations, or new installations with a focus on safety, budget adherence, and timely completion.
- Conduct regular inspections using schematics, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify issues proactively.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel standards by maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with management to plan budgets, forecast maintenance needs, and optimize operational costs while maintaining high-quality standards.

Skills
- Strong management skills with proven experience supervising technical teams in facilities or industrial maintenance settings.
- Extensive mechanical knowledge covering HVAC systems, electrical wiring (high voltage and low voltage), schematics reading, and industrial equipment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with CMMS software for scheduling maintenance tasks and tracking asset performance.
- Solid understanding of facilities management principles including safety protocols, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools essential for electrical troubleshooting.
- IT acknowledgement preference
- Excellent project management abilities to coordinate upgrades or repairs efficiently while managing resources effectively.
- Fluency in English with strong communication skills to lead teams, document procedures clearly, and collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with supervising experience in manufacturing or industrial environments; capable of motivating teams towards operational excellence.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach upward.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
