The Director, Compounding Operations is the enterprise owner of compounding operations across Ro’s pharmacy network. This role is accountable for operational execution, quality, compliance, performance, inspection readiness, and scalable growth across both sterile and non-sterile compounding operations.
Reporting directly to the VP of Compounding & Manufacturing, this leader oversees Lead Compounding Pharmacists across all current and future facilities, including Illinois and Florida. Site-level Lead Compounding Pharmacists and Pharmacists-in-Charge are responsible for local execution, while the Director defines the enterprise operating model, standards, systems, metrics, escalation pathways, and accountability framework required to drive consistent performance across the network. All compounding personnel align indirectly to this role through the site leadership structure.
This is a hands-on enterprise leadership position requiring strong operational discipline, quality oversight, regulatory judgment, and the ability to build and scale controlled compounding operations. The role ensures that practices are standardized, documented, and aligned with USP <795>, <797>, and <800> across all sites.
The Director partners closely with Pharmacists-in-Charge, Quality, Compliance, Operations, Legal, Product, and Supply Chain while maintaining clear accountability for cross-site consistency, performance management, operational controls, and escalation of compounding-related risks.
This leader is ultimately accountable for the systems and controls that support finished-product quality, release readiness, inspection readiness, and overall compounding performance across Ro’s pharmacy network.
The role is based on-site in Romeoville, Illinois, with travel to other compounding locations as needed.

The target base salary for this position ranges from $175,500 to $206,500, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable).
