Get Hooked is a fast-paced, locally owned breakfast and coffee shop in Simi Valley. We are seeking a high-energy, dependable Line Cook who thrives in a busy kitchen and takes pride in preparing high-quality food with precision, speed, and consistency.
This role is essential to our morning flow. You will run the grill, prepare breakfast items to order, and help maintain a clean, organized kitchen that operates with urgency and teamwork. We are looking for someone who hustles, stays focused under pressure, and does not fizzle out after a few weeks.

Responsibilities
- Run the flat top grill during service
- Cook bacon, sausage, fried eggs, and scrambled eggs to order
- Fry tater tots and other hot items
- Build breakfast burritos and sandwiches accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food prep including chopping, portioning, stocking, and organizing
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation at all times
- Follow proper food safety, knife handling, and sanitation procedures
- Support the team during busy rushes by managing multiple tickets efficiently
- Assist with closing duties, deep cleaning, and kitchen reset for the next shift
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred
- Strong sense of urgency — able to move quickly and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills
- Cleans as they go and takes pride in a spotless station
- Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
- Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent
- Weekend availability required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour
