Overview

Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance web and application software using languages such as Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails.
- Design system architectures that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable, employing design patterns and best practices.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless integration across services and platforms.
- Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy features efficiently using CI/CD pipelines on cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Implement microservices architecture to create modular, flexible systems capable of handling high traffic loads.
- Maintain version control using tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or SVN while managing code repositories effectively.
- Contribute to front-end development with frameworks like React or Express.js to deliver engaging user experiences.
- Ensure system security through RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) policies and adhere to best practices in application security.
- Participate in system design discussions focusing on scalability, performance optimization, and future growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering with a strong background in application development across multiple programming languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, or VBA.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components such as Linux servers, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), and network fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with web development frameworks like React or Express.js and RESTful API design principles.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, scalable system design, and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of version control systems including GitHub, SVN, or Git for efficient code management.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments utilizing CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong grasp of database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server; experience with SQL query optimization is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
- Passion for learning emerging technologies like quantum engineering or advanced system design concepts is a bonus!
