American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 12-week assignment requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT certification in Mammography.
-
Inpatient and outpatient mammography unit
-
5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Schedule includes Saturdays
-
No on-call requirements
-
May float within facility and scope of practice as needed
-
Performs 3D and digital mammography, screening and diagnostic mammograms
-
Uses Hologic 3D equipment and PACS system
-
Epic EMR experience preferred
-
Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience required
-
ARRT (M) and ARRT (R) certifications required
-
BLS certification required
-
Mammo Training certification and Digital certification required
-
3D certification preferred
-
Proof of 15 CEUs from the last 3 years and exam number from the last 2 years may be required
-
Proficiency in digital quality assurance procedures, radiation safety, and isolation/universal precautions required
-
License required if applicable

First-time travelers will be considered

Responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms using 3D and digital mammography technology

Maintains radiation safety, PPE, and universal precaution standards during all procedures

Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
-
If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, coverage is required with no holiday RTO permitted
-
If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, one holiday RTO request may be considered
-
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/Day

Previous employees or travelers must be away from all facilities within this health system for one full year before returning as a traveler
