Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a fresh environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces with precision and efficiency.
- Handle floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning to uphold safety and aesthetic standards.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs proactively.
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others.
- Assist with special cleaning projects like industrial or deep cleans to maintain overall facility hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members and management to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold hospitality standards.
Requirements
- Must be available at 9am start time
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial work; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated skills in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet maintenance.
- Strong understanding of custodial practices with knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and products.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment safely.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus for those interested in advancing into supervisory roles.
