Part-Time Kitchen Assistant – Mica’s Sweets & Treats - Catering Company & Bakery
Starting Pay: $15-$18/hour
Hours: 10–20 hours per week/Saturday, Sunday & Monday plus extra hours during holidays

Do you love working in a fast-paced kitchen and take pride in creating beautiful, high-quality food? We're looking for an experienced, dependable Kitchen Assistant to join our growing catering company and bakery.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety—one day you may be preparing desserts, the next helping with catering orders or packaging gourmet treats.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food and dessert preparation
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes
- Bake and decorate simple bakery items (experience preferred)
- Assemble catering orders and package products
- Wash dishes and maintain a clean, organized kitchen
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with event preparation and occasional deliveries if needed
- Help with inventory, labeling, and stocking supplies
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, bakery, or catering experience required
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation
