The Learning Community is seeking Temporary Summer Maintenance Workers to support deep cleaning and facility upkeep during the summer months.
Schedule: Late June through end of August
Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (some flexibility)
Pay: $20/hour
What You’ll Do:
- Strip, wax, and clean floors
- Move furniture for deep cleaning
- Clean classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
- Perform basic repairs (painting, drywall, minor carpentry/plumbing)
- Operate cleaning equipment (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Maintenance or custodial experience preferred
- Able to work independently and handle physical tasks
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 25–50 lbs, stand/walk for long periods
- Bend, reach, climb ladders
- Work indoors/outdoors in summer conditions
On-the-job training provided.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
