Position Summary
The Taco Line Prep team member is responsible for supporting daily kitchen operations through food preparation, order assembly, stocking, and maintaining food quality standards. This role plays an important part in ensuring customers receive accurate, fresh, and high-quality food in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness, consistency, and compliance with all food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Operations

Prepare food items and ingredients according to company procedures and recipes.

Support daily kitchen operations and assist with kitchen tasks as needed.

Prepare and assemble customer food orders accurately and efficiently.

Support food expo operations to ensure orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Maintain proper stocking levels of ingredients, supplies, and food service items throughout the shift.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or product concerns to management.

Rotate products and ingredients using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

Follow proper portioning procedures to ensure consistency, food quality, and cost control.

Maintain awareness of ticket times and support smooth service flow during peak business periods.
Compliance Vendor Quality Assurance

Adhere to all health, food safety, and sanitation regulations.

Ensure food preparation and handling procedures consistently meet company and regulatory standards.

Maintain food quality standards to ensure products provided meet customer expectations.

Monitor incoming food products and ingredients for freshness and quality and report concerns to management.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Work Area Management

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe food preparation and work area.

Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of prep stations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

Ensure ingredients, supplies, and operational tools are properly stocked and organized.

Assist with shift cleaning, organization, and kitchen reset procedures.
Requirements

Previous food preparation, restaurant, or kitchen experience preferred.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume food service environment.

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations preferred.

Ability to follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and operational procedures accurately.

Strong time management and teamwork skills.

Ability to multitask while maintaining food quality and service standards.

Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain physically active throughout scheduled shifts.

Ability to lift and carry food products, supplies, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Pay Range: $11.00-16.00/hour depending on shift and experience
