Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department
Location: Utica, NY 13502
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (8:30 AM – 9:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Compensation:
- Local Pay Rate: $55 - $62/ hr on W2 (75 miles radius rule )
- Travel Weekly gross Pay: $2506 - $2686/ week (Includes taxable and non-taxable amount)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have recent Emergency Department experience, including pediatric patient care, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and emergency interventions.
- Care for patients with stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction (MI), cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and other emergency conditions.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and emergency treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR.
- Operate specialty equipment, including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun devices.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and evidence-based emergency nursing practices.
Qualifications:
- Active New York RN License
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience
- Pediatric ED experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
- Epic EMR experience required

- BLS - AHA
- ACLS - AHA
- PALS - AHA
- NIHSS
- TNCC
Pay: $2,506.00 - $2,686.00 per week
