Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our Human Resources team. This role works closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager and requires a highly collaborative, team-oriented individual who enjoys working in partnership with others. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, task-oriented work and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and follow-through.
About the HR Team: We are a collaborative HR team committed to supporting managers and employees across three states with recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, employee relations, annual performance reviews, and other key people processes. This is a part-time (20hrs/wk), onsite, benefits-eligible position in Arlington, MA, with the potential to transition to a full-time role.
Hourly Range: MIN $24/hr | MID $26.5/hr | MAX $29/hr
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordinating headshots and bios, initiating background checks, and assisting with scheduling across the administrative team

Coordinate performance management processes, including launching, tracking, and peer feedback

Assist with annual compliance training tracking and organization

Update employee records, including data entry and document organization

Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Provide general administrative support to the HR team

Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:
- 3+ years of administrative or HR support experience

Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS system

Proficiency in Google Workspace

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information

Comfortable working within established processes and systems

Associate’s degree or higher
Desired Qualities:
