Job Summary
1 Stop is a busy convenience store famous for our Fried Chicken and Taters and we are looking for a motivated cook to work with limited supervision. We cook with deep fryers and convection ovens and experience is preferred. Ideal candidate would have 2+ years in a prep cook/cook position. Must be able to manage time well and work efficiently.We currently have a part time position that is 3-5 days a week (28-42hours).
We specifically need to fill a Sunday shift between the hours of 12 noon and 1030pm. This shift is the primary shift we are looking to fill and it will be a regular shift. Other days and hours are between 10am-7pm and between 1pm-1030pm. Must be able to work a combination of those shifts. Paid weekly
We could work around other job schedules for part time people. We have flexible hours and can train the right person.
Paid training is $12 per hour. Pay after training is $14 per Hour plus bonus to bring hourly total between $15-16 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fried menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene
- Assist in meal preparation, including portioning, seasoning, and plating dishes efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts, adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by managing multiple orders quickly and accurately
- Follow menu planning guidelines to ensure consistency in food presentation and taste
- Handle food with care, using proper knife skills and cooking techniques to produce high-quality dishes
Skills
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous but not required
