Our growing interior design and construction firm is seeking a talented Interior Designer with a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces that exceed client expectations. We are looking for a highly creative individual with strong design instincts, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial projects, including custom homes, renovations, furnishings, staging, and short-term rental properties. The ideal candidate is inspired by great design, enjoys working directly with clients, and thrives on transforming ideas into exceptional spaces.
Education/Experience
- 3 years full time interior design experience
- Degree in Interior design
Creative Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and overall project vision
- Create mood boards, finish palettes, and presentations
- Select furniture, fabrics, lighting, accessories, and finishes
- Assist clients with selections for new construction and renovations
- Design short-term rental interiors and furnishings packages
- Source unique products and develop vendor relationships
- Stay current on design trends, materials, and furnishings
- Window treatment design, specifications, and ordering skills
Skills
- Exceptional design eye and creativity
- Strong understanding of color, scale, proportion, and space planning
- Residential design experience
- Excellent client presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with lead designer and project team
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Houzz Pro, or similar visualization tools
- Working knowledge of CAD software a plus
- Ability to communicate design intent through sketches, presentations, and design software

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
