Hampton Manor of Bloomfield Hills is seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers who are passionate about providing exceptional care to seniors in a beautiful assisted living and memory care community to join our evening shift (7p-7a).

As a Caregiver, you are one of the most important members of our team. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by providing hands on assistance, companionship, and outstanding customer service every day.
Responsibilities
As a member of our Resident Care Team, you will assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting their dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
Responsibilities include:
· Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, ambulation, and personal hygiene
· Providing medication assistance and medication administration, when assigned
· Responding promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance
· Monitoring residents for changes in condition and immediately communicating concerns to nursing leadership
· Assisting residents during meals, including meal service and dining support
· Encouraging resident participation in activities and community engagement
· Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining clean resident apartments and common areas
· Restocking resident supplies and maintaining a clean, safe environment
· Accurately documenting resident care and completing required reports
· Working closely with nurses, supervisors, and fellow caregivers to provide exceptional resident centered care
Qualifications
· Previous experience as a caregiver in an assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, home care, or similar senior care setting is required
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred
· Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout an entire shift
· Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teamwork
· A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care
