Commercial/Industrial Service Plumber
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Compensation: $35–$45/hour (DOE) + Overtime (OT after 8 hours)
Position Overview
An established industrial services organization is expanding in West Michigan and hiring Commercial/Industrial Service Plumbers to support operations in the Grand Rapids and Holland markets.
This is a service-driven role, focused on maintaining and repairing plumbing systems across manufacturing facilities, commercial buildings, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repair, and maintenance on plumbing systems
- Install and service piping systems, fixtures, and drainage systems
- Troubleshoot water supply, DWV, and gas systems
- Support emergency response service calls within a rotating on-call schedule
- Communicate findings and solutions clearly with customers and internal teams
- Maintain documentation and service reports via mobile tools
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams across service divisions
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber License required; Master preferred
- Experience in commercial and/or industrial plumbing environments
- Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to work independently
- Comfortable with technology (tablets, mobile reporting systems)
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$35/hour + daily overtime (after 8 hours)
